Slaughter by laughter

JULIAN SIEBER

A nurse in the US is facing criminal charges after administering a lethal amount of medication that caused her patient to overdose.

“The nurse was fully aware of our motto ‘laughter is the best medicine’. Unfortunately, she gave the patient about 15 times the normal limit,” said the Nursing Supervisor for St Christopher Hospital Janet Werner.

New research into the drug has revealed that today children are exposed to far too much laughter and are in real danger of spontaneous overdoses.

“We need more emos,” said St Christopher intern Wade Headley.

LotteryWest’s television commercial “Jars” featuring a child collecting laughter in jars and building up a stash “for a rainy day,” likely to traffic and sell them later, has come under review.

More details on the review will be posted shortly.
