Halo 3: ODST hits shelves and confuses fans
JULIAN SIEBER
Gamers across the nation rejoiced as they got their hands on the brand new game for Xbox 360, Halo 3: ODST.
Bungie president Harold Ryan was adamant that this game offered a completely new experience and, although being an expansion, is very different to Halo 3 and worth forking out the $60 to buy it.
“To be honest, I can’t actually remember what ODST was meant to stand for,” said Mr Ryan. “I think it’s, like, Operation Demon Smash Training.”
However George Lucas has been left furious following the debate that ended with his omission from the game’s credits.
“I definitely remember working on Halo 3: ODST,” said Lucas. “After all, it is called Halo 3: Obi-wan Death Star Troopers, right?”
After only a day on the shelves, Halo fans are also divided as to the naming of the new game, some claiming it stands for Otter Destruction Special Team, for some it’s Original Dire Straits Tuning while others believe it stands for Oceania Daylight Saving Time.
