Man killed by other man with pointed stick

JULIAN SIEBER

A 25-year-old Beechboro man died on the way to St Joseph’s hospital last night following a violent incident.

Ross Nico ironically died after a large splinter in his eye caused a sudden major hemorrhage and he lost too much blood.

‘Eye’-witnesses say Mr Nico had been walking alone on a quiet street when he found a $2 coin on the ground and said: “Well, it’s better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.”

The offender, who jumped out of a nearby bush and attacked Mr Nico, has been taken into custody and is believed to be a part of the infamous rebel group known as ‘The Cliché Police’.
